There have been two players named Al Henry who have played in the NBA.
Al Henry (born 1943) played in the NBA for three seasons from 1967 to 1970. He was drafted in the second round of the 1967 NBA Draft by the San Diego Rockets. He played in a total of 85 games during his NBA career, averaging 5.5 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. After his NBA career, he played for several years in the ABA and also had a brief stint playing professionally in Japan. Henry was known for his quickness and scoring ability, and he was also a good ball-handler and passer.
Al Henry (born 1966) played in the NBA for one season in 1991-92. He was undrafted and signed as a free agent with the Washington Bullets. He played in a total of 17 games during his NBA career, averaging 3.2 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game. After his NBA career, he played professionally in several other countries, including Spain and Italy. Henry was known for his shooting ability and was often used as a spot-up shooter during his NBA career.
While neither Al Henry had a particularly long NBA career, both were able to play at the highest level of professional basketball in the world, which is an impressive accomplishment.
